I have only begun to get over my feeling that javascript was a script-kiddies langauge. This is the usual attitue of a Java programmer who has had to occassionally delve into javascript in order to do web development. Lately, though, since we are moving towards GWT at work, it has become clear that I need to become an expert at javascript. I have been diving deeply into the langauge of late, particularly as it relates to new HTML5 constructs. Canvas is a new frontier for me, and I will first be developing an image editing HTML5 app, and relating my discoveries, and the current state of the app in this blog for your enjoyment.
